Authenticator Privacy Policy

This page describes our policy regarding data collected in our app Pixplicity Authenticator.

Collected data

None. This Pixplicity Authenticator is specifically designed to collect as little data as needed. It only requires access to the camera when scanning QR-codes with the purpose of adding new accounts to the app.

Use of your data

Authenticator manages two-factor authenticator tokens for your accounts. Those tokens are stored in private storage and encrypted which means that your data is protected by the Android system security measures. This does not guarantee safety on rooted devices!

Your accounts are not backed-up to a cloud or otherwise accessible by us, Pixplicity. You can only share back-ups by your own means, e.g. by sharing a back-up through e-mail or Evernote. Back-ups are always encrypted using strong, military-grade encryption using a password of your choice. Pixplicity, cannot access your passwords.
