Introspect Privacy Policy

This page describes our policy regarding data collected in our app Introspect.

TL;DR We only collect data with your explicit consent and we never collect anything personal.

Collected data

Introspect gathers a lot of system information from your phone and displays it. Not all of this is collected by us; only non-personal data that cannot be used to identify you, is. Information such as IP-address, MAC-address, Bluetooth device name, etc., are not collected.

Method

Introspect will ask your explicit consent before sending data to our Firebase back-end. You are free to deny this request without disabling any of the functionality of the app.

Usage

The collected data is used to gather information about the hardware in currently available Android devices. It is our intent to eventually feed this data back into the app to aid app developers in determining the specs of Android phone models.
